Don’t forget to pack your bag.

  1. Snowboard
Choose a board that suits your riding style, whether you’re into freestyle, all-mountain, or powder. Board size and flex are also important factors based on your weight, height, and experience level. I have ridden Burton Boards & feel they are superior to other boards. Burton makes a fantastic product and will not let you down on the slopes!
  2. Snowboard Bindings
Bindings attach your boots to your board and come in various styles. Make sure they are compatible with your board and comfortable for your riding style. I have found that a Step-On Binding is Amazing for the Slopes. They make gearing up to ascend the mountain seamless and well worth stepping on! Once you try these bindings, it will be hard to trust any other style, especially when keeping up with the pros.
  3. Snowboard Boots
Good boots provide support, comfort, and control. They should fit snugly, be warm, and offer the right flex for your riding preference. My feet have ALWAYS stayed warm and dry in Burton Boots. Burton knows their gear, which is why they have supplied gear for the Olympics. I trust the brand and find it is far superior to all other Snowboarding boots.
  4. Snowboarding Jacket
Look for a waterproof, windproof, and insulated jacket to keep you warm and dry. It should also have vents for breathability and pockets for essentials. A girl needs more than just one Jacket! Some days are hotter than others, so this Jacket has a removable lining for those hot sunny days in the mountains. I especially love the jacket styles that are available in this line.
  5. Snowboarding Pants
Waterproof and breathable pants are essential. They should be comfortable, provide freedom of movement, and have reinforced material in high-wear areas. Pants are most important, let’s face it, if you have never gone snowboarding before your butt will be in the snow and COLD! So I have found these Pants are the best at keeping warm & don’t forget the CRASH PANTS!
  6. Helmet
A helmet is crucial for safety. Look for one that’s well-ventilated, comfortable, and meets safety standards. You can never be too safe with your Helmet Gear! Wear it and be Safe! Save your NOGGIN!!
  7. Goggles
Snowboarding goggles protect your eyes from sun, snow, and wind. Look for UV protection, anti-fog lenses, and a comfortable fit with your helmet. Several Goggles are good, but getting the right ones for the day is what matters. The clear Goggles are great for night skiing and snowboarding! Pink Goggles are also great for evenings and days that dump! Finding the right Goggles that don’t fog when wearing a face mask is also crucial, which is why I use these!
  8. Gloves or Mittens
Waterproof gloves or mittens with insulation keep your hands warm and dry. Mittens tend to be warmer, while gloves offer more dexterity. I have found Hestra makes a fantastic Glove, which is extremely important in keeping your hands warm and dry while in the snow to prevent frostbite!
  9. Base Layers and Socks
Thermal base layers (top and bottom) and moisture-wicking snowboard socks keep you warm without adding bulk. Avoid cotton, as it traps moisture, and go for materials like merino wool or synthetic blends. These are great Socks that haven’t let my feet get cold once. Socks are great and fun! Keep those toes warm and free from frostbite!

With these essentials, you’ll be geared up and ready for the slopes!
